SG Training was founded by Stephen Gollan to provide flexible training solutions for the aquatic industry and other professions or groups requiring first aid and resuscitation certifications.
We have been delivering first aid training, CPR courses, Bronze Medallion and pool lifeguard courses to a variety of industries for over 25 years. We are also a recognised training partner of Royal Life Saving NSW and deliver a number of courses on their behalf.
Our Mission is to: Deliver meaningful and flexible training in a friendly and informative atmosphere.
At SG Training, our flexible training solutions means we can offer courses 7 days a week to both small and large groups. And we are mobile, so we will come to your place of employment for your convenience.
We can cover your first aid training needs specific to a variety of professions such as teachers, high school students, child care centres, personal trainers and security personnel, as well as parent groups such as playgroups and parenting classes who might be looking for a baby and toddler first aid course.
Located in Banora Point, NSW, SG Training services the Tweed Heads area including: Tweed Heads South, Tweed Heads West, Fingal Head, Terranora, Bilambil Heights, Chinderah, Kings Cliff, Casuarina and Cabarita Beach. We also cover Northern NSW and have been providing regular training to areas such as New England, North West, Northern Rivers and the Central and Far North Coasts of NSW for a number of years.

Associations/Memberships
Stephen brings a wealth of experience to his training courses, having been in the Aquatic Industry for over 40 years. As a highly experienced trainer, Stephen’s practical approach to First Aid training provides participants with the knowledge and skills they need, whilst building the confidence to apply these skills in their industry through real and relevant scenarios.
Stephen’s career spans more than four decades as an Aquatic Centre Manager and over 25 years as a trainer/course provider for First Aid, Resuscitation, Bronze Medallion and Pool Lifeguard, including providing courses as a trusted training partner of Royal Life Saving NSW.
Stephen has worked extensively with the NSW Department of Education to provide both educators and students with skills in First Aid, CPR and Bronze Medallion certifications. He has also delivered the Recognition and Management of Anaphylaxis Program (RAMOAP).
In addition, he has worked with numerous primary and high schools in the private sector and the University of New England, as well as local councils, learn to swim schools and private businesses across many industries.
